Nina Vránová photographer

She was born in Ostrava, in 1977.She attended high school in Cesky Krumlov from 1991 until 1994.She was accepted for her study of the“Film photography” at the Film school in Zlin. In 1996 she graduated with her exhibition about ballet dancers, under Mr.Pavel Dias;'s mentoring.Afterwards, she worked on improving her French at the French Institute in Prague.


The Faculty of Arts at the Palacky University was another important place for her further career. Nina's major there was the “Theory of theater and film”. During her studies she presented a large exhibition of her pictures-portraits. After graduation, in 2003, she worked as a junior dramaturgy for the Rokoko theatre. She also prepared another exhibition. At that time, she focused on the theater's members of the Dejvicke divadlo and created a photographic collection of their portraits.


During 2005-2012 she was very busy with gaining a larger variety of work experience and became a TV buyer, a journalist for TV Nova, a PR manager, an EX cultural columnist for REFLEX magazine, as well as lifestyle magazines. After the birth of her son in 2012, she decided to return to the photography.


She shoots stylized and documentary photography of people of all ages.
